Hell yeah! Find out how more, here.
My god they’re all at it. Has someone sent out a memo saying Dynasty hair’s ok and forgot to include me?
First it was Cheryl…
If it was just the “stars” of TOWIE (The Only Way Is Essex) or Big Brother “beauties” I could dismiss this trend as one best left to Katies price et al, but when icons like SJP and Rihanna hop on the back combing bandwagon, I got-to- thinking…. should we take this one seriously?
If these pictures haven’t put you off and you feel inspired to channel your inner Tina Turner, you’ll need a pin tail comb for back combing and tonnes of strong hold hairspray, I’d recommend Tresemme’s Freeze hold £4.29, there’s nothing stronger.
Umberto giannini recently brought out a product called back comb in a bottle, haven’t tried it personally, but if it does what it says on the tin, you too can look like you’ve been dragged through a hedge backwards.
A word (actually pictures) of warning…
And if Tina, Madonna and Jon Bon Jovi haven’t put you off, you go girl!
There’s big hair, then there’s CHERYL’S hair…..
Arriving for her first day in her new job Stateside wearing a purple, orange and turquoise ensemble complete with camels toe and hair bigger than Simon Cowel’s ego (who’d have thought that was possible)! All I can scream is CHERYL WHAT WERE YOU THINKING?!?!
And all that hairspray can’t be doing the Ozone layer any favours.
Red Lipstick, as crucial to your Make up bag as a little black dress is to your wardrobe. If you don’t have one, you need one, and if you do, you need another as it’s for CHARITY.
Famous faces including Kara Tointon, KT Tunstal and Katy B have joined forces to launch a lipstick created by renowned make-up artist Karen Alder, for the youth charity The Prince’s Trust.
Strictly beauty Kara Tointon
Kiss starlet Holly Valance
And it’s not just for the ladies…
Celebrity Hair Stylist James Brown and Designer Henry Holland have joined in on the action.
Finally a make up purchase that’s 100% guilt free.
Hello, who doesn’t?
Beauty giant L’Oréal Paris are giving you the chance to meet their spokeswoman, and nation’s sweetheart Cheryl Cole. All you have to do is upload a picture of your most fabulous hair style (that you’ve created yourself) onto their facebook page. One lucky winning will be chosen to spend the day with Cheryl on a photo shoot and get to watch their hair creation being recreated to front the new L’Oréal Paris Advertising Campaign. It doesn’t get much better than that.
Let the battle commence, good luck girls… And boys!
New year, new you? With spring around the corner (humour me, I’m trying to be optimistic) it’s the perfect time to enbrace some new looks. It’s out with the old, in with the new as we take a look at some of the key beauty trends for Spring/Summer 2011, starting with…
This look was big last year, but this season it’s bigger, bolder and brighter than before. Block colours were every where on the Spring/Summer 2011 catwalks and the celebs are following suit. Red’s still big…
but it’s orange and fushia that will really take centre stage. Leading by example, Kate Bosworths rocks pink lips by keeping the rest of her make up neat and polished…
I’m loving Mac’s Viva Glam Ga Ga lipstick £13.50, ALMOST as bold as it’s name sake, it features a high lustre finish and cool blue-pink shade.
I haven’t tried it yet, but Yves Saint Laurent Rouge Volupté Lipstick in No. 10 Provocative Pink (£21 at Boots) looks as opulent as they come! It promises to transform lips with the ultimate sensuality.
Whether they’re shiny or matte, let your lips do the talking this spring.
